Some Days Your Body Whispers… Other Days It Shouts

Lately, I’ve been paying a lot more attention to my body.
Not in the “push harder, do more” way I’ve known for most of my life…
But in a quieter way.
A listening way.
There’s something I’ve come to realize—especially over the past while:
Your body is always communicating with you.
At first, it whispers.
A little fatigue.
A bit of tension.
A sense that something feels… off.
Nothing dramatic.
Easy to ignore.
And for years—I did.
Because I could.
Because I was used to pushing through.
Because in the fitness world, we’re often taught that pushing is the answer.
But here’s what I know now:
When you don’t listen to the whisper… it eventually becomes a shout.
And lately, I’ve felt that.
Not just physically—but emotionally, mentally… deeply.
After losing my mom, and stepping into a different rhythm of life supporting my dad…
There are days where my energy just isn’t there in the same way.
And instead of pushing through like I used to…
I’ve been asking a different question:
👉 What does my body need right now?
⚡ A Different Kind of Strength
For a long time, I believed strength meant:
Showing up no matter what
Pushing through exhaustion
Overriding what I felt
But I’m learning that real strength can also look like:
Slowing down
Supporting your system
Giving your body what it’s actually asking for
And that shift?
It changes everything.
🔬 What’s Really Going On Beneath the Surface
When your body feels depleted, it’s not just “in your head.”
It’s happening at a cellular level.
Your mitochondria—your energy producers—are responsible for keeping everything running.
And when they’re under stress?
You feel it:
Low energy
Slower recovery
Increased inflammation
That overall sense of being “off”
This is where I’ve come to appreciate tools that don’t force the body…
but support it.
💡 Where Red Light Therapy Fits In
Red Light Therapy works with the body—specifically at the cellular level—to support energy production and recovery.
Not in a dramatic, overnight way.
But in a steady, supportive way that helps your body do what it’s designed to do.
And right now, that matters more to me than ever.
Because I’m not interested in pushing past what my body is telling me anymore.
I’m interested in supporting it.
❤️ What I’m Learning (In Real Time)
This season of my life is teaching me something I didn’t fully understand before:
You don’t always need to do more.
Sometimes…
You need to listen sooner.
Support better.
And trust that your body knows what it’s doing.
