The Week That Shifted Something in Me

This week felt different.

Not in a loud or obvious way.

But in the quiet moments.

In the pauses.

In the thoughts that stayed with me longer than usual.

Over the past few days, I’ve been sharing pieces of a season that changed me.

Not all of it.

Just enough to begin the conversation.

Because the truth is… some experiences take time to put into words.

As I’ve been writing, posting, and reflecting, I’ve noticed something:

When you start to open up, even just a little, it changes how you see everything.

Moments feel different.

Memories surface.

Lessons become clearer.

And the things you once pushed past…

start asking to be felt.

This week reminded me that growth doesn’t always feel like progress.

Sometimes it feels like:

• slowing down

• sitting in discomfort

• recognizing how much you’ve been carrying

• allowing yourself to process instead of push

And that kind of awareness… can be uncomfortable.

But it’s also where real change begins.

What I’m taking from this week is simple, but not always easy:

I don’t have to move through life the same way I always have.

I don’t have to push through everything.

I can adjust.

I can slow down.

I can take care of my energy in a different way.

There’s also something else I’ve felt this week.

Gratitude.

Not for the hard moments themselves…

but for what they’ve shown me.

For the clarity.

For the perspective.

For the reminder of what really matters.

There’s more to this story.

And I’m ready to share it.

🎙️ You Do You Unfiltered returns April 7.

This next episode is one of the most honest conversations I’ve ever had — and it’s something I’ve taken my time with.

Because some stories aren’t meant to be rushed.

If you’ve been in a season that’s felt heavy, quiet, or different…

You’re not alone.

And maybe, just maybe…

Something is shifting for you too.
